In the Odessa region, more than 500 thousand subscribers were left without electricity during peak hours on August 26. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Regional Military Administration. According to him, 150 thousand subscribers are still without electricity in most districts as a result of network restrictions. Throughout the country, there are disruptions in power and water supply, railway operations are disrupted, and the Kiev Hydroelectric Power Station is also damaged. Emergency power outages have been implemented in all Ukrainian regions. The military claimed responsibility for targeting "critically important" energy facilities that support the operation of Ukraine's military-industrial complex. Power substations and gas compressor stations in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kharkiv regions, which ensure the functioning of Ukraine's gas transportation system, were targeted. In addition, strikes were carried out on storage facilities for Western "aviation means of destruction" at airfields in the Kiev and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The military also mentioned that winter plans would be revised due to the massive attack by the Russian military.
