According to Forbes magazine, Donald Trump, a candidate for the US presidency, has begun promoting a collection of watches just over a month before the elections. The most luxurious watch in this collection, called Tourbillon, is priced at $100,000 and is described as being made almost entirely of 18-carat gold and adorned with 122 diamonds. Only 147 of these watches have been produced, available in three different colors. The Tourbillon model comes with two back covers, one of which features a personalized message of "Thank you" from Trump.
A more affordable model called Fighter is offered in a case made of gold-plated stainless steel for $799 or in a stainless steel case for $499.
According to CNN, since his entry into the presidential race nearly two years ago, Trump has earned millions of dollars by selling products with his name and image. Specifically, he has made $7.2 million from a licensing agreement with NFT INT, a company that sells digital images of Trump. The US presidential candidate has also released a line of gold sneakers, written two books, and launched "Trump coins," which are silver medallions featuring the politician's face on one side and his signature on the other.
The presidential election will take place on November 5th in the United States. The main contenders for the position of head of state are the current Democratic vice president Kamala Harris and the former Republican White House chief Donald Trump. Harris entered the race after the current US president, Joe Biden, dropped out.
