French fashion brand Lacoste has announced a partnership with the Rolex Paris Masters tennis tournament, set to take place from October 26 to November 3 at the Accor Arena in Paris. Through the partnership, Lacoste aims to enhance its connection with tennis, a sport closely associated with the brand. Lacoste will create special corners at the tournament venue where fans can delve into the brand's heritage. Additionally, the brand will showcase a special capsule collection featuring polo shirts, t-shirts, shorts, and baseball caps. Lacoste plans to launch a complete line of tennis apparel by 2025.
Furthermore, until 2030, Lacoste will be responsible for dressing the tournament's referees, ball boys and girls, and children accompanying the athletes at the opening matches. Thierry Giber, the CEO of Lacoste, commented, "This partnership perfectly aligns with the sporting heritage established by our founder René Lacoste. Lacoste and tennis are inseparable, and we are thrilled to strengthen this connection through our collaboration with the iconic Rolex Paris Masters tournament."
It is worth noting that Lacoste previously released a collection dedicated to the 1924 Olympic Games. To celebrate this occasion, the brand will also open a pop-up store in Paris. The partnership with the Rolex Paris Masters tournament demonstrates Lacoste's ongoing commitment to the world of sports and its desire to further establish itself as a prominent tennis brand.
