The watch brand, founded by watch designer Gérald Genta in 2000, celebrates its 25th anniversary with two special editions of its flagship Maestro watch. The Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin showcases a lapis lazuli stone dial, while the Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon features a tourbillon complication and a hand-hammered gold dial.
The unique Maestro case, inspired by Rome's Baroque architect Francesco Borromini, boasts an asymmetric polygon design with smooth edges, a double bezel, and wave-like shapes at the base. The Maestro 2.0 has a 39mm diameter stainless steel case with a lapis lazuli dial, polished finish, and a blue Colormix bezel. The dial is made from 0.55mm-thin lapis lazuli wafers and reveals the stone's rich blue color with golden specks. The Maestro 9.0 has a 39mm x 41mm polished stainless steel case with a stepped titanium bezel and a hand-hammered white gold dial.
The Maestro 2.0 is powered by an ultra-slim automatic Vaucher movement with a 50-hour power reserve. It features Super-LumiNova-treated hour markers and hands, a framed date window at 6 o'clock, and a blue Clou de Paris embossed rubber strap. The Maestro 9.0 showcases a 60-second flying tourbillon, hand-engraved surfaces, and Roman numerals. It is equipped with a Vaucher automatic movement and has a 50-hour power reserve.
