During operational and investigative activities, criminal investigation officers at Sochi airport identified the suspect in the theft. The forgotten accessory in the tray was appropriated by the foreign national following the victim, according to the press service of the investigative department of the Sochi Transport Interior Department.
The suspect was detained at the international airport in Mineralnye Vody. She was taken to the duty unit, where she admitted guilt and returned the stolen watch. During the preliminary investigation, the accused was under travel restrictions and required good behavior. The criminal case has been sent to court for consideration on the merits.
